llms.txt is an emerging convention — similar in spirit to robots.txt or sitemap.xml — that points AI crawlers and answer engines toward the content you most want them to use and cite. It's part of the GEO/AEO toolkit.
Like the rest of the foundation, it only helps if the pages it points to are themselves crawlable, well-structured, and trustworthy.
