Using CommandSEO

Severity (critical / important / enhancement)

How CommandSEO ranks findings by impact, so you fix what matters most before polishing.

Not every issue is equal. CommandSEO tiers each finding as critical (load-bearing — fix first), important, or enhancement (polish). This is how the canvas and report keep you focused on the problems that actually hold a page back rather than drowning you in noise.

Foundation problems — a page that can't be crawled or indexed — naturally sort to the top, in keeping with the foundation-first approach.

How the tiers play out

GoodEnhancement: /pricing could add an FAQ section with FAQPage schema for a richer result.

WeakCritical: /pricing returns a noindex tag (the page can't appear in search at all).

Both are real findings — but you fix the critical one first; the enhancement can wait.

What to do about it

Treat the tiers as your running order: clear all critical findings, then important, then enhancements. If you're selling SEO services, this ordering is also how you justify scope and sequence to a client.

Common questions

Should I ever skip a critical finding?

Rarely. Critical findings usually mean a page can't rank at all (not crawlable, not indexable) — fixing them is the highest-leverage work you can do. Enhancements are the ones safe to defer.
